Good Samaritan 101: Ethics Considerations in Pro Bono Representation
UR Downtown, The Bar Association of the City of Richmond and the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation invite you to Law Over Lunch on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at UR Downtown, 626 E. Broad Street, Suite 100 (map). Lunch will be provided.
Speakers include Leslie A.T. Haley, Assistant Ethics Counsel at the Virginia State Bar and G. Andrew Nea, Jr., Pro Bono Partner at Williams Mullen. This program has been approved by the Virginia Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.0 hour of ethics credit.
There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required. Attendees are asked to pledge to perform pro bono service within the 2009-2010 bar year. Space is limited – reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the Richmond Bar office at 780-0700 to reserve your spot.
