STOP EVICTION

In recognition of their outstanding efforts with the Eviction Diversion Program (“EDP”), the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation (“GRBF”) has awarded Jennifer “Jendy” D. Daglio, Sarah B. Warner, Joshua “Josh” P. Hanbury, and Andrew “Drew” F. Gann, Jr. the Benjamin R. Lacy, IV Volunteer of the Year Award. Launched on October 1, 2019, EDP has been a great success and a much-needed program in Richmond. Between the program’s launch and June 30, 2020, 147 households were assisted, disbursing $176,569.59 in financial assistance.

This team of four has served in leadership roles, formally and informally. Josh and Drew agreed to be Triage Project Co-Champions of the new EDP Program in the early stages of development. Jendy and Sarah started as volunteers, providing great feedback and suggestions to help improve and refine the program. They have all graciously agreed to increase their roles and service. Many volunteers deserve credit for the success of EDP thus far and the impact that the program is having (and will have), but these four, in particular, deserve our appreciation (and this award) for their efforts and leadership over this past year.

About the Recipients:

Jendy Daglio (top L) is counsel at Hunton Andrews Kurth where her practice focuses on structured finance, asset securitization, mortgage servicing rights, and other corporate finance. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law.

As a group, the four volunteers have dedicated hundreds of hours of service in support of the Eviction Diversion Program.
