The Greater Richmond Bar Foundation provides direct legal support to nonprofit organizations, supports local legal aid organizations, and works to increase the efficiency and impact of pro bono service delivery. With a relatively small budget, we expand access to the justice system with a corps of skilled volunteers, community partners, and highly motivated staff. We pride ourselves on our efficient use of resources, low overhead, and leveraging of in-kind services.
We need your support to help nonprofits needing legal assistance via the Pro Bono Clearinghouse, to keep families in their homes through the Eviction Diversion Program, to support legal aid with the Triage Project, to support innovation in pro bono technology via JusticeServer, and to promote the culture of pro bono service within the legal community. If access to justice is important to you, we hope you will consider making a generous donation to the Greater Richmond Bar Foundation to support these programs.
Making a gift to the Foundation is a meaningful way to honor esteemed colleagues for their contributions to the legal profession. When making a tribute or memorial gift in honor of a retiring legal professional or in memory of a departed colleague, please include the honoree’s name and address to ensure proper notification.
